Features

Side seam sewing system to cut to length and simultaneously seam of the quilt:

Adjustment track each side sewing unit: 600 mm
Left- and right handed 2-needle double-chainstitch sewing heads (Stich type 401) with multi-feed (needle-, top- and presserfoot feed)
Round knives (diameter 100 mm) arranged behind the sewing area ensure precise, efficient edge trimming
Integrated pair of intake rollers for optimal material feed
Max. sewing speed 4,000 s.p.m., with a max. stitch length of 8 mm
Electronic thread flow monitoring for all 5 chain threads (during the sewing process)
Control of the adjusted quilt lengths via laser distance measurement (with optical display on the display of the laser sensor)
2 line lasers for marking the later cut edge by projecting a laser line in front of the side seam sewing machines

4-needle cross sewing system to cut to length and simultaneously seam of the quilt:

Liftable 4-needle double-chainstitch sewing heads (Stich type 401) with multi-feed (needle-, top- and presserfoot feed)
Needle gauges: 5 / 5 / 5 mm
Max. sewing speed: 3,000 s.p.m.
Adjustable stitch length: 2 - 8 mm
Cycle time at quilt size 1.30 m x 2.40 m: 15 sec. (with a stitch length of 7 mm of the cross seam)
Collision control (detection of material jams)
Thread monitor for all chain threads
Chain thread trimming device and circular knife

Compensators infront of the sewing heads of the side- and cross seam stations (with intermediate storage) to decouple the production speed of the upstream multi-needle unit
