Double-chain-stitch special high-speed seamer in single and multi-needle models with bottom and needle feeds
PFAFF-technicians and engineers designed a PFAFF 5622 sewing head which is able to sew backwards. This was a prerequisite for realizing a new 5622-sewing unit for in-sync stitching (left/right) of large parts featuring two sewing heads. Due to the 5622’s inline-technology the machine may be expanded to up to 6 needles which are working in parallel.
Features
The double head concept ensures high-performance manufacturing
The exact distance of the two machine heads are made on costumer request (customized)
The hooks are arranged parallel to each other and work in the seam line (INLINE)
Precise and even stitch setting on all materials
Simple threading, owing to swing-out loopers. All threading points are accessible from the front of the machine
Automatic presser foot lift (pneumatically controlled) with tension release
By exchanging attachments or part sets the machine can be adapted to suit individual needs
The construction is suitable for table height and standing installation
High traction due to compound feed
The machine concept can be integrated in a complete production unit
