ShangGong Group celebrates its 50th anniversary with an impressive celebration

CISMA (China International Sewing Machinery & Accessories Show) was the second top event for the textile processing industry in 2015 after Texprocess in Frankfurt am Main. The companies Dürkopp Adler AG and PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH, together with Beisler and KSL, accordingly made every effort to make a strong impression in Shanghai. With a stately trade fair stand divided up according to application segments coupled with the exhibition of over 100 innovative and high-performance sewing and welding solutions, the group of companies accomplished this feat in style.

Eight sewing solutions were presented in the jeans section, which is being greatly expanded by PFAFF INDUSTRIAL. The new PFAFF 3840, for example, is a powerful and highly flexible machine for sewing belt loops. Quality and output are equally important when it comes to hemming jeans pockets. The new PFAFF 3538 takes care of this perfectly. The new PFAFF 3819 waistband sewing machine is characterised by high performance and accuracy. The machine concept ensures efficient working with a short training period. With the PFAFF 3588 Cargo, PFAFF INDUSTRIAL presented a machine for efficiently applying non-prefolded cargo or bellows pockets in the areas of work clothing, streetwear and military clothing. The machine is unique on the market for its very high production output using the fully overlapped working method as well as its consistently maximum sewing speed (maximum 4,000 rpm) without speed reduction in corners or bars.

Welding using “ultrasonic”, “hot air” or “hot-wedge” – PFAFF INDUSTRIAL showcased all its welding methods at CISMA. “Asian premiere” had the newly developed hot-air taping machine, PFAFF 8303i, for programmed seam sealing. The PFAFF 8303i stands for “simple and innovative”. Process reliability and reproducibility have been significantly increased with the 8303i. The use of differential transport ensures the highest seam quality. All relevant process parameters can be programmed and saved via touch screen. The new PFAFF 8303i allows up to 20% higher productivity compared to other hot-air tape welding machines.
