Correct setting of the v-belt tension on the X/Y drive is
indispensable. The optimum setting of 1,000 Nm on the PFAFF 3588 can now be
checked using a simple meter, and adjusted if ncessary. This check must
be carried out during normal servicing at regular intervals.
