On all machines with thread trimmer the needle positioning system is standard equipment.
- It is easier to control the required sewing speed
- Fewer hand movements are needed to re-position the material
- Foot-pedal actions are reduced to a minimum
- Re-positioning of the needle at corners and end of seam by turning the balance wheel is eliminated
- No damage to the material when the workpiece is removed, because the needle is positioned higher than the presser foot at the end of the seam
- No needle breakages when sewing is started
