PFAFF receives Texprocess Innovation Award 2011

PFAFF Industrial received the Innovation Award for "Powerline 3721 - Docu-seam-system. Joachim Richter, CEO of PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen AG and Andreas Korz, sales director, received the award.



The winners of the Texprocess Innovation Award were announced and the awards were presented during the Texprocess opening ceremony on Monday, 23 May. The jury met in April and evaluated 30 entries from 25 companies in nine countries. Eight of the products were selected for the Texprocess Innovation Award, which is given for outstanding engineering achievements and product developments of Texprocess exhibitors. PFAFF Industrial received the Innovation Award for "Powerline 3721 - Docu-seam-system. Joachim Richter, CEO of PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen AG and Andreas Korz, sales director, received the award.

The criteria for selection were that the product innovations had to be really new, i.e., not had been on the market for more than two years, and were offering users genuine advantages by improving processes, make handling easier, reduce material and manufacturing costs and increase productivity.
